This online class will provide parents with essential information to identify signs of childhood anxiety and easy-to-use strategies to help children cope. Specifically, this session will help parents better understand anxiety as we will review the definition and components of childhood anxiety. Parents will walk away with targeted interventions to support their children at home.

Kristen Niemczyk-Kistner is a doctoral-level school social worker. Melissa Dupree is a certified school psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). With over 30 years of combined experience, Kristen and Melissa have worked with children and their families across a variety of settings.  Kristen and Melissa create a judgment free environment where families and educators can share their experiences and seek support while learning new strategies to add to their toolbox.

Attendees will have an opportunity to get their parenting questions answered following the presentation.
